New Egypt Speedway Postpones Mr. Crate Classic/Scout Night Due To Excessive Heat; AMA Flat Track Classic Still On As Planned

New Egypt, NJ – Taking into consideration its fans, competitors and staff. New Egypt Speedway has cancelled for this Saturday night, July 20th. The Mr. Crate Classic and Scout Night will be rescheduled for Saturday night August 3rd.

“We were hoping that the weather man was wrong and waited out as long as we could but we decided that it was in the best interest of everybody to cancel for this Saturday night. With heat index warning’s near 110 degrees this was our safest bet”, said New Egypt Speedway General Manager Joey Liquori.

This Sunday’s AMA Garden State Flat Track Classic is still on as planned. Pit gates will open at 9am, Spectator gates will open at 12pm with racing beginning at 1pm on Sunday. Adult admission is $20, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $10 and Kids 11 & Under are FREE!

New Egypt Speedway will also be back in action on Saturday night July 27th for Youth Football Night presented by Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse featuring the Vahlco Wheels Modifieds, Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman, Street Stocks and the Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club! Pit gates will open at 4pm, grandstands at 5pm with hot laps at 6pm and racing at 7pm. All youth football players in uniform will be admitted free into the grandstand.

New Egypt Speedway, which is New Jersey’s premier dirt racing facility, is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear, and well-groomed walkways. Concession facilities serve up everything from Jersey Burgers to ice cream treats at family-friendly prices.

3rd Annual Mr. Crate Classic And Scout Night Headling Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse Night This Saturday, July 20th At New Egypt Speedway

New Egypt, NJ – The 3rd Annual Mr. Crate Classic will be held this Saturday night at New Egypt Speedway it will also be Scout Night and it is all presented by Eastern Auto Parts Warehouse. The Crate Modifieds will be in the limelight, as they will be competing in a 30-lap feature paying $750 to win and the title of being Mr. Crate Modified 2019 at New Egypt Speedway. Previous winners are Kyle Kania in 2017 and Connor King in 2018.

The Larry’s Hot Rods & Harley’s Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars will also be in competition along with the Hammer Sportsman and the Mike’s Performance Center 4-Cylinders! All Scouts in uniform will receive Free Grandstand Admission this Saturday night.

Pit gates will open at 4pm, Grandstands at 5pm with hot laps hitting the speedway at 6pm and racing at 7pm. Adult admission is $18, Seniors are $16, Teens (12-15) & Military w/ID are $8 and Kids 11 & Under are FREE!

Then the focus will turn to Sunday where for the first time ever AMA Flat Track Motorcycles will grace the New Egypt Speedway for the Garden State Flat Track Classic. Pit gates will open at 9am, Practice will begin and the Spectator gates will open at 11am with racing beginning at 1pm. The Flat Track races will be held in conjunction with the Central Jersey Motorcycle Swap Meet, which will begin at 8am.

New Egypt, NJ – Following back-to-back rain outs the New Egypt Speedway will be back in action this Saturday Night May 26th with the 2nd Annual Salute To Our Veterans 40 for the Modifieds.

Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks, 4-Cylinders & the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will also be in action this weekend. As a Thank You for their service, all active and retired military w/ID will receive free General Admission this coming Saturday night.

This Saturday will also be the “Dirty Dozen” Round of 12 in the JTee’s May Modified Madness Series.

Following the tragedy that took place in his hometown of Paramus, NJ last week, Crate Modified driver John Criscione and New Egypt Speedway will be teaming up for a helmet drive to be conducted during intermission on Saturday night.

Pit Gates will open at 3PM, Spectator Gates will open at 4PM with Hot-Laps being scheduled for 5PM and Racing beginning at 6PM. Admission to the grandstand is $22 for adults, $20 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15 and Kids 11 & Under are FREE. New Egypt, NJ (May 3, 2018) - As has been the tradition for the past four years at New Egypt Speedway, the first Saturday in May signifies the start of the  May Madness Modified Series. This distinct series features a race within a race as the top-24 drivers in the Modified point standings will compete in a bracket style elimination tournament. The inaugural May Madness Modified Series was won by Ryan Godown in 2014. Billy Pauch, Sr. took home the title in 2015. Dominick Buffalino claimed top honors in 2016 while Danny Bouc was crowned the champion last year. Godown, Buffalino, and Bouc will be seeking their second May Madness Modified Series championship this year. A host of top drivers such as Billy Pauch, Jr., John McClelland, David VanHorn, Rich Rutski, Kevin Vaclavicek, and Davey Sammons will be looking to take the 2018 title. The four race series is set to conclude on Saturday, May 26 with an extra distance 40-lap feature on Salute our Veterans Night.

Along with the Modifieds, Larry's Hot Rods & Harley's Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars, Hammer Sportsman, Crate Modifieds, 4-Cylinders and the Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookie Sportsman will be in action this Saturday at New Egypt Speedway. On May 5, competitors may begin to enter the pits at 3:00 p.m. and the grandstand gates open at 4:00 p.m. Hot laps get underway at 5:00 p.m. with racing starting at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the grandstand is $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and older, $10 for teens 12-15, $10 for military personal and their spouses with ID, and Kids 11 & under are FREE. Pit admission is $30 with a New Egypt Speedway license and $40 with no license.
