New Egypt, NJ – The expected severe weather set to hit during the evening hours of Saturday, May 14th forced a cancellation of New Egypt Speedway’s Legends Night event. The Legends Night and Garden State Vintage Stock Car Club exhibition have been rescheduled for Saturday, July 9th.
The Speedway has a busy week ahead with NASCAR Night Saturday, May 21st and the World of Outlaw Sprints invading on Tuesday, May 24th. NASCAR Night will see the NEWS Sprints presented by Burlington Overhead Door, Sportsman, Crate Modifieds, Street Stocks, and Lyons Construction/Metal Fab Rookies in action. Wear your favorite NASCAR driver apparel and you’ll receive $2 off your General Admission. There will also be NASCAR themed giveaways throughout the night. Pit gates open at 3 pm, front gates open at 4 pm, hot laps begin at 5 pm, and racing starts at 6 pm. Adults are $20, seniors 65 and older are $18, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $10, and children 11 and under are FREE.
The World of Outlaw Sprints make their only New Jersey appearance on Tuesday, May 24th. Kasey Kahne Racing’s Daryn Pittman looks to make it four consecutive New Egypt Speedway World of Outlaw victories. Tickets are on sale now at dirtcar.ticketforce.com. Pit gates open at 2 pm, will call and advanced ticket holder gates open at 3:30 pm, grandstands open at 4 pm, hot laps begin at 6:30 pm and racing starts at 7:30 pm. Adult general admission is $30, reserved seating is $35, teens 12-15 are $15, and children 11 and under are FREE.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike.
