Severe Thunderstorm Threat Cancels Bike Night at New Egypt Speedway; Next Event Is 90s Night Sponsored By Hammer Electric Saturday, July 23rd

New Egypt, NJ– Mother Nature reared her ugly head with the threat of severe thunderstorms in the northeast and forced the cancellation of Bike Night sponsored by at New Egypt Speedway. Speedway management is looking into rescheduling the Bike Night promotion with ½ General Admission for motorcycle riders and bicycle giveaways for children for later in the summer. A new date will be announced as soon as it becomes available.
The Speedway will be dark next Saturday, July 16th and will return to action with 90s Night sponsored by Hammer Electric on Saturday, July 23rd. Racing will be the 358 Modifieds, Crates, and Street Stocks. Pit gates will open at 4 pm, grandstands will open at 5 pm, hot laps begin at 6 pm, and racing starts at 7 pm. Adults are $20, seniors 65 and older are $18, teens 12-15 and military and their spouses with ID are $10, and children 11 and under are FREE.
New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile D-shaped dirt oval, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country. New Egypt’s state-of-the-art facilities feature daylight-quality lighting and excellent sightlines from any seat in the house. The grandstands are fully wheelchair accessible with wide, clear, and well-groomed walkways.
