New Egypt, NJ –Following last week’s announcement regarding mandated track fuel at New Egypt Speedway, New Egypt Speedway has reached an agreement with Sunoco Race Fuels to lower its prices on racing fuel for the 2017 season.
112 Octane (Blue) which was $9.50 in 2016 has been lowered to $8.50 per gallon, 110 Octane (Purple) was $8.50 in 2016 is now $8.00, with Alcohol being lowered from $4.50 to now $3.50 per gallon. Crate fuel will remain the same at $4.00 a gallon.
Also starting next Wednesday, sealed 55-Gallon drums of fuel will be available in stock at New Egypt Speedway. There will be a drum-deposit added on for the price of the drum or race teams are encouraged to bring their own drum to be filled.
“We decided that if we were going to make everyone buy our fuel to try and make it easier on everyone and lower the price, it costs a lot of money to get these cars to the race track each week and hopefully this makes it more affordable for car owners”, said Joey Liquori who is a part of the track management team for 2017.
If teams have any questions don’t hesitate to call Joey at 908-256-0234 or via email email@example.com.
