New Egypt Speedway’s Open Practice to Offer Quick Time Bonuses; Easter Egg Hunt and Free General Admission Highlight Fan Activities

New Egypt, NJ – This Saturday, March 26th, New Egypt Speedway takes a break in the racing action for their only scheduled open practice session of the season that offers fans free general admission and children’s activities.

Drivers from all forms of dirt racing are invited to participate in the open practice that will again offer Quick Time bonuses to the fastest cars in the 358 Modified, Sportsman, Crate Modified, Street Stock, NEWS Sprint, and Racesaver Sprint divisions. The scoring of laps will begin at 1 pm. The driver turning the fastest lap of the day in each division will receive one free $30 value pit pass, 5 gallons of gasoline or alcohol, a Bead Buster courtesy of Vahlco Wheels, and a hat and t-shirt from American Racer Tire. Drivers wishing to participate in the Quick Time bonus must register at the Pit Shack before 12 pm to be eligible. Anyone who would like to post an additional bonus can contact the Speedway at 609-758-1900.

Fans are invited to attend the open practice session and will receive free general admission. There will be an Easter Egg Hunt in the picnic area at 1 pm for children ages 2 to 12. There will be special eggs hidden throughout that will offer a bigger prize to the lucky children who find them. The Speedway will also be handing out raffle tickets to all fans in attendance to win great prizes like t-shirts, tickets, and more every half hour of the practice.

The Speedway is also offering a chance for drivers to test our NEWS Wingless Sprint cars. If you are interested in getting behind the wheel to test an NEWS Sprint contact Joey at 908-256-0234.

Pit gates will open at 10 am for early technical inspection. Practice will begin at 12 pm. Pit admission is $25 per person. Anyone still needing to purchase their 2016 New Egypt license or parking spots can do so in the Speedway office.

New Egypt Speedway is located on Route 539 just minutes from Six Flags Great Adventure and the New Jersey Turnpike. A racy 7/16-mile-D-shaped dirt over, New Egypt Speedway serves Garden State race fans with some of the best competition in the country.
