ROOKIES ON THE FASTLINE: FASTLINE PERFORMANCE TO PRESENT 2025 ROOKIE DIVISION
NEW EGYPT, NJ – Rookies on the Fastline.
The annual Rookie division at New Egypt Speedway will be presented by Fastline Performance, located in Chadwicks, N.Y., with an eye on giving back to the new racers in the sport.
“I’m excited to give back to our Rookies,” New Egypt Speedway Executive VP of Operations Chris Moore said. “Mike (Walton, owner and operator of Fastline Performance) is a great guy who has been instrumental for racers, especially in the Sportsman division.
“This will be a great thing for our rookies to chase and take advantage of.”
The rookie division at the D-shaped Garden State oval is meant for drivers with minimal experience of full-sized car racing before leaping in with the Crate Sportsman division.
“Fastline has really grown exponentially over the past few years,” Walton exclaimed. “This is an opportunity for us to grow even more and be apart of helping the new racers coming into our sport.”
In 2025, the Fastline Performance Rookies will compete in their 8-lap feature to begin each night of racing through their Rookie Graduation date, tentatively scheduled for June 14.
After the feature, they will start at the back of Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman heat races with an opportunity to qualify, just as the regular Crate Sportsman will.
Rookies will begin gaining handicap points following their graduation into the Crate Sportsman division full-time.
Fastline Performance will give back to the new racers, as the second-place finisher in Fastline Performance Rookie points will receive a 50% discount on a rebuilt set of shocks.
The highest finishing Fastline Performance Rookie in the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman points will also receive 50% off a rebuilt set of shocks.

The 2025 season for the Fastline Performance Rookies begins on Saturday, April 5.
The 2025 New Egypt Speedway kicks off on Saturday, March 29 with the Super DIRTcar Series ‘Power in the Pines’ event.
The big-block Modifieds go for 75-laps, chasing a $7,500 winner’s share.
The Crate Sportsman and Four Cylinders complete the Saturday program, both under New Egypt Speedway rules and procedures.
