JUST CAN’T WIN: PERSISTENT RAIN SHOWERS FORCE A SIXTH NEW EGYPT SPEEDWAY CANCELLATION FOR 2025

NEW EGYPT, NJ – Just Can’t Win.

The June 7 program at New Egypt Speedway has been canceled due to persistent rain showers soaking the speedway grounds.

The cancelation is the sixth of the 10 races scheduled thus far in 2025.

“There’s nothing we can do about it,” Speedway Vice President of Operations Chris Moore stated. “We just have to keep hoping for sunnier days ahead.”

Attention turns to next Saturday, June 14 for Insinger Performance Night with a visit from the SCDRA Four Cylinders.

The Modifieds headline the affair with the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman and SCDRA Four Cylinders also on the docket. The Fastline Performance Rookies are also on the card for a pair of feature events.

The SCDRA Four Cylinders will battle for a $2,500 top prize, with a purse boost available when the car count exceeds 50 cars.

For the June 14 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow at 6:30 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $23 for Adults, $20 for Seniors, and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens 12-15. Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
