THE RETURN: URC SPRINTS RETURN TO NEW EGYPT; 9TH ANNUAL MR. CRATE CLASSIC ON TAP
NEW EGYPT, NJ – The Return.
For the first time in nearly six years, the United Racing Club (URC) 360 Sprint Cars return to New Egypt Speedway this Saturday, July 19.
The high-powered winged warriors roll into town to co-headline the Saturday night affair along with the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman running the ninth annual Mr. Crate Classic.
The URC Sprint Cars last invaded New Egypt Speedway on August 20, 2019, when Wantage, N.J.’s Davie Franek picked up the victory. The event was run as part of the Short Track Super Series ‘Dirty Jersey’ that night.
Franek upended Adam Carberry and Josh Weller to claim the most recent URC A-Main at the Central Jersey D-shaped oval.
22 different drivers have been victorious with the URC at New Egypt Speedway.
The Mr. Crate Classic co-headlines the July 19 event, the ninth annual running of the event for the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman.
The event will be 35 laps in distance and pay $1,500-to-win the main event.
Bedminster, N.J.’s Mike Butler leads the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman standings by just two markers over Cream Ridge, N.J.’s Steve Davis. The top six in the standings are all within 38 markers of each other in the championship chase.
The Northeast Wingless Sprint Cars (NEWS), Xtreme Diesel Performance, LLC. (XDP) Street Stocks, Four Cylinders, and Vintage Cars are all on the docket for a jam-packed night of racing.
Mick D’Agostino (NEWS), Pat Force (Street Stocks), and Joe Garey Sr. (Four Cylinders) all lead their respective divisions in the standings as the season hits it’s full stride.

For the July 19 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5:30 p.m. with racing to follow at 6:30 p.m.
Grandstand admission is $23 for Adults, $20 for Seniors, and $15 for Military w/ID and Teens 12-15. Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.
Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
