New Egypt Speedway To Host Open Practice Wednesday June 24, 2020
New Egypt Speedway plans to host open practice WEDNESDAY, JUNE 24th with pit gates opening at 1:00pm and racing beginning at 3:00 pm. Practice will be open to all interested teams with pit fees being $30.
Due to social distancing guidelines and the Governors executive order, the speedway will only be permitted to sell pit passes for drivers and crew members in order to enter the facility.
We are taking precautionary measures to ensure a safe environment for fans, participants and employees as we make the return to racing. If you are displaying symptoms of COVID-19 and/or are not feeling well, we ask that you please stay home. The safety of our fans, track employees, and the drivers remains our top priority.
COVID Procedures: All participants, team members Car owners, etc must maintain safe social distancing at a minimum of 6ft apart (unless they live in the same household). All race cars must have 6ft spacing between each them. It is highly recommended to wear masks when at the facility, as per the state police of New Jersey. Seating is available and we have marked seats 6 feet apart with proper markings. Please maintain proper social distancing at all times.
