FOUR CYLINDER SPOTLIGHT: SCDRA FOUR CYLINDERS BATTLE FOR $2,500 TOP PRIZE ON FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT

NEW EGYPT, NJ – Four Cylinder Spotlight.

This Saturday at New Egypt Speedway, the Four Cylinder division takes center stage with the traveling SCDRA series in town.

The touring series opens its 2025 season in the Garden State at the D-shaped oval with over 40 Four Cylinders expected to be in attendance to chase the $2,500 top prize.

The Four Cylinders headline ‘Fan Appreciation Night’ with grandstand admission just $10 for everyone 12 years of age and older. Kids 11 and under get in FREE.

Southampton, N.J.’s Bob Drayton claimed the Four Cylinder victory this past Saturday in a 25-lap affair, just five laps less than this weekend’s 30-lapper.

Joining the Four Cylinders will be the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman, Xtreme Diesel Performance, LLC. (XDP) Street Stocks, and the Fastline Performance Rookies for a pair of 8 lap features.

Cream Ridge, N.J.’s Pat Wall outdueled neighbor Ryan Simmons and a hard charging Mike Butler, of Bedminster, N.J., to pick up the Swagger Factory Apparel Crate Sportsman victory back on Saturday, May 3.

Wall, N.J.’s Rob Ormsbee charged from the sixth starting position to upend Milford, N.J.’s Kory Fleming in the May 3 XDP Street Stock Feature.

Ringoes, N.J.’s Hunter Ploski claimed the top prize in the Fastline Performance Rookie division back on May 3 after slipping by Bordentown, N.J.’s Aiden Spencer at the midway point to claim the victory.

For the May 17 event, pit gates open at 3 p.m. with the grandstands unlocking at 4 p.m. Hot laps begin at 5 p.m. with racing to follow at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $10 for everyone 12 and over. Kids 11 and under are admitted FREE.

Pit admission is $40 (w/o a license) and $30 (w/ a license).
